SPIRITUAL/ADMINISTRATIVE MINISTRIES Minister's Counsel The Minister's Counsel is Temple's roster of ministers who assist Dr. Veal in his absence during worship service and/or Bibly Study. Contact: Trustee Ministry The Trustee Ministry cares for the management and disbursement of funds and assist Dr. Veal in budget development. Contact: Jesse Robinson Deacon Ministry The Deacon Ministry visits the sick, serves Dr. Veal, provides teaching assistance, performs various church ordinances, and oversees church finances. Contact: Donald Lenear Deaconness Ministry The Deaconness Ministry assists with Baptism and makes preparation for the Communion Table. Contact: Josephine Horn Mother's Ministry The Mother's Ministry advises the young women of Temple Baptist. Contact: Avery Lee Music Ministry The Music Ministry provides a repertoire of songs for a variety of services. Contact: Minister Eric Dyson, Minister Amos Floyd, Jimmy Meely, Willie Jones, Jr. Christian Board of Education The Christian Board of Education is responsible for the training of teachers through workshops and seminars at the discretion of Dr. Veal. Chambliss Bus Ministry The Bus Ministry provides local transportation for members and visiting guests to and from church service. Contact: Shawndra Maxey LIFE MINISTRIES Men's Ministry The Men's Ministry is a fellowship of men who are dedicated to keeping men spiritually informed. Contact: Eugene Griggs Women's Missionary Society The Women's Missionary Society is a fellowship of women who organize evangelistic outreach programs that feed the hungry and assist the needy. Contact: Ovela Coe Prime Rib Marriage Ministry The Prime Rib Marriage Ministry provides marriage classes and pre-marital counseling sessions. Contact: Donald & Pauline Lenear Youth Pastor Min. Saint Andrew Jones Operation R.I.D.D. (R-emodeling, I-nforming, D-edicated, D-isciples) This program consists of teen bible classes, rap sessions, basic cooking skills (the last Monday of each month). Azuree Wade Children's Ministry The Children's Ministry provides Christian classes, support and activities for infants and children through the age of 14 years old.
